dude. the lag is brutal for me. Aus hosted servers ftl!

Looks like I'm getting War from my brother for my birthday so I'll be playing this for a while after all.

You make it sound so enticing. Aus servers that lag worse than WOW-US servers, unresponsive gameplay. Sounds awesome! lol (Especially after everyones been talking about how rad the new WoW expansion is ;))

Well, the US server latency is pretty good, even on a high pop server.
Here are my toons:

Dark Crag (US): Kalacha, order, elf warrior
Darklands (Aus): Clarice, order, elf archmage

Awesome. Come join our guild - <Superion> on Darklands Order. I'm Gondir, Dwarf Engineer. Currently like R11/RR10 - almost into the t2 zones.

As for the lag - no issues here. It's nice having sub-100ms pings sometimes!

Don't worry Darv, no one else I know on AUS servers seems to have lag, just Morf :P

Anyway I got a handful of destruction chars on Ironclaw.

Saphon - Disicple
Sauriel - Chosen
Gunmar - Marauder
Wotzizface - Black Orc
Tinygit - Squig Hearder

Will probably roll a Witch Hunter on Darklands when I get time.

Just hit R12 tonight - pushing fairly hard, running a few PQ's, etc. I've settled down a bit into the tier2 zones to 'enjoy' them a bit more though - the Engineer takes a little while to mature (if I've not said that already?).

Barbed Wire + Point Blank + Flak Jacket is pretty win though - Point Blank is endless fun.

Is Order not as mindlessly frustrating as Alliance is?

What I've read makes the Order classes seem really interesting, but from the sounds of it, everyone and their brother plays Chaos.

Darklands has a big Order pop - though being the "underdog" makes things more interesting. There was a big <The Older Gamers> ("TOG") raid with a few other smaller guilds like ours on the Keeps in t2 zones last night - was a heap of fun.

Is actually a big battle going on in Barak Varr right now - watched 20+ Destro run past at once on their way to grab the Docks.

Just did a couple of the Chapter 7 Elf PQ's in Shadowlands with my guild (<Superion>, yo!) - epic fun. Almost R15 - pushing hard for R20 so I can get my gyrocopter mount D:

I can't believe how cheap mounts are. I like it.

I actually like the Elf lands - a lot of the quest hotspots are condensed, and I'm all for as little running around as possible.

Might head to the Dwarf lands depending on how Elf Chapter 7 pans out - I do want the Influence Reward helm though. The Dwarf "goggle" helms look awesome - suits the Engineer to a tee.

Almost R16 - going to farm Influence a bit solo & through PQ's, finish off the Chapter 9 quests and then mix it up with some Phoenix Gate RvR. Should be close to 17 (if not there) by later tonight. Aiming for mid-twenties by the end of next week.

Almost onto the tier 2 elf lands now, fun fun. And the PQs are ace! I don't think I could get tired of capturing slaves and eviscerating high elf soldiers :P

I like Order a lot. The zones are really well designed, and the dwarves have a lot of personality. The first dwarven warcamp stage you'll see these dwarf priests trying to eradicate rats in their tavern with high powered spells. Pretty funny stuff.

HEre's a couple screenies of the Order stuff that I posted from my thread.

Overall the skill of players on both sides seem about the same from the two servers I've checked out. There's an equal amount of morons, but there's also some decent players.
