i gotta be honest... Thats not what I was expecting them to say.

given that this is a sticky for all movies in general and a person can open it up and not know what movie they are about to hear about, is it possible to maybe require that it be kept spoiler free? I know that kind of limits the amount of discussion that can be had, but still.

For isntance, im glad that there is a separate thread for Cloverfield because the potential for spoilage is so huge. The entire marketing strategy was to give away just enough that you will want to see it yourself...

Don't read the thread if you don't want any spoilers, pretty simple imo.

Thought about this a bit.. and it should be cool to discuss movies after seeing them and including spoilers.. but at the same time if you don't want to see a spoiler, avoid it.. so.. what I think might help is if people just put a

spolier warning

in the post before doing it. It's a decent compromise.

Isn't there a *spoiler* BBCode where it makes it so you have to highlight the text to read it or something like that?

Anyone seen Juno yet? I watched it the other night and thought it was quite a good film, didn't have as many laughs as I thought it would but its a film I'd recommend none the less.

I liked Juno a lot. It did have the few really LOL parts... and then quite a few little chuckles in the middle. The way the story was structured and turned-out really surprised me. It was much more than I expected... as far as her relationship with the adoptive parents went.

Saw this when it first came out... LOVED IT. Will likely go down as my favorite movie of '07.

the new star trek movie is directed (produced?) by J.J. Abrahms, now of Cloverfield fame. Thats enough to make me go see it.
